C1/D Visa renewal

I want to renew my c1/d visa...I am unemployed at this moment and looking for company..Most of the companies are demanding valid US Visa..That's why I want to renew it.. Can anyone tell me whether I can do it by my own without a help of a company?..Thank you.

No you can't, you need get the company to send you a job letter so you can go to the US consulate in your home country and apply for a C1/D visa, other wise you will be denied because C1/D is for crew members.
