Hi,
I am a US citizen. Last August, I applied for Green Card (filled form 130) for my brother who lives in India. He is a seaman and has previously got C1/D visa. As his previous C1/D visa is about to expire he needs to re-apply. Will the green card application that I applied for him cause problem when he applies for C1/D. I believe for C1/D he needs to fill the DS-156 (non-immigrant visa application form). Also if he files for tourist visa will it cause problem ? Will my withdrawing the green card application help for either?
