Hello everyone. I will be flying from the UK to Miami via jfk to join a ship as a crew member. I hold a valid c1/d visa. Do I also need to apply for an esta to travel to the US or can I enter on my C1/d. TIA

If you hold a valid C1/D visa, you do not need to apply for an ESTA. The C1/D visa covers both transit and crew duties, allowing you to enter the U.S. to join your ship—even when transiting through JFK to Miami. Safe travels and smooth boarding!
