I have a C1/D visa valid for 10 years. I am no longer working in the cruise ship, am working in one of the Caribbean Islands and wants to transit to the US to go on vacation to my hometown in Asia. Can I still use my C1/D VISA or I need to re-apply for a C1 or B1/B2 Visa. Thanks for your help

Hello,
To transit through the U.S. for vacation or to return to your home country, you must apply for a B1/B2 visa (tourist/business) or a C-1 visa (transit only), depending on your plans: Official Site
B1/B2 visa: If you plan to stop in the U.S. for sightseeing, visiting friends/family, or a short vacation.
C-1 visa: If your stop is only a layover en route to your final destination in Asia and you won’t leave the airport.
Best Regards
suzi
