There is nothing to keep you from marrying (except the fee), but you can't initiate petition and Adjustment paperwork until your asylum procedure is resolved.

You didn't understand my last response to you. YOU CAN MARRY ANYTIME YOU WANT. But I don't recommend applying for your Green Card until your asylum proceedings are finished.

Cancelling your asylum request now may not be that simple. Go back to the legal representative you are using and ask about the advisabiility of cancelling your asylum request.

it's based on that i had some problems in my country.. i had an interview with immigration officer and he just refused my asylum and gave it to the court.. the hearing is in 2015

I applied for asylum in the state of Ohio but i live in Louisiana now and i wanna marry over here! Do i have to go back to Ohio to cancel my asylum or i can do it in any state? Appreciate your help sir

You cannot attempt to adjust your status to Permanent Resident, based on marriage, until your asylum hearing in 2015, as two procedures of these types cannot run concurrently. If you submit an Adjustment package now, it would be denied and you would lose your $1,070 submittal fee. You can attempt to have the asylum processing and scheduled hearing cancelled, but you risk being given a deportation order.

You can marry. But your asylum procedure must be completed before you begin processing for a spousal Adjustment of Status. The two procedures cannot proceed at the same time.

You can marry anytime. But you cannot start your I-485 procedure until your asylum hearing.
