ds 160 application problem

Hi,
I am applying for the ds 160. When I try to upload the photo the following error comes up:

Server Error in '/QotW' Application.

Invalid operation. The connection is closed.

did anyone experience that?
How did you solve it?

There are intermittent application problems wtih the DS-160 and DS-260 online forms. I think it was a buggy contract job done for State Department, and/or work may be in progress to polish the application. I've experienced them several times, when I knew I was doing everything right that had worked previously. My way out was to just try to save what you have, make sure you have the reference number to return to the form that you have already worked on, log off, then go back alter in the day or the next day.
