Dear friends I need some help
I am doing medical training in US since july 2014. I came in J1 visa the visa I was given was a single entry from June 2014 till May 2015 but of course I can extend my extension according to the program I am at.
My question now is my wife applied a couple of days ago for J2 and got accepted but we just realized that her visa is not only single entry but the worse is that it is only valid until end of june of this year; and she can not come to USA because of social issues before end of July. The DS form she applied with showed duration of exchange visitor training from July 2014 until June 2016.
I do not know did they put the expiration date of the visa 2015 instead of 2016 by mistake or they mena it. and if it is the latter why did they do that. only 2 month duration visa??? even visitor visa is not 2 months?
