Hi I'm filling ds-160 for a J1 visa and I wanted help regarding the following:
1. Current travel:
I have my arrival flight details but since i'll be going there for my medical residency, its a one-way ticket with no departure date. Is it ok if i choose "no" for the question on specific travel then? Because if i answer yes, it asks for a departure date which i don't have.
The duration of my residency is 3 years but J1 has to be renewed every year, so what do i put in as my 'intended stay' duration?
2.Present Work/Education/Training:
I've completed my MBBS (bachelor's degree in medicine) in october 2014. I am not working currently as i've been applying for residency programs in the us and studying for exams. What do i mention as present employer or school name after choosing 'medical/health' as primary occupation? do i put in my medical school name there? What is expected in the duties column?
3. Previous work:
Are all educational institutes i've attended to be mentioned or just the one with the graduate degrees and above?
Any help will be appreciated
