on J1 visa married to US citizenship holder

Hello,

I am an Indian physician currently in US on J1 visa. I am married to US citizen (born in US).
I heard that I will still have to do J1 waiver for 3 yrs.
My employer is about to file for H1 visa (J1 waiver) in few weeks.
I heard that the process can be different and that I can apply for EAD rather than H1 and work in J1 waiver site for 3 yrs.
Please let me know if this is possible and any other useful info in my case.

Does it say on your visa sticker in your passport,
"BEARER IS SUBJECT TO 212E
TWO YEAR RESIDENCY RULE DOES APPLY"?

Not every J-1 holder is subject to FRR.

Yes I am subject to 2 yr home residence requirement
