Dear Sir/Madam
At present time I am on B-2 visa in the US, I decide to start working for a research center in the US, and I am going to apply for J-1 research visa,
1- If I want to change my status from B-2 to J-1 research visa in the US, it will take about 2 months until the J- visa issues for me, my question is that, during these 2 months ( between applying and isssuance of J visa), can I start my working in the research center or not?
2- If I get J-1 research visa, can my spouse (he is in the US on B-2) change his status to J-2???
3- On his J-2 , can he get work permission????
