help me to schedule J2 VISA appointment

i am sabeena

i have been rejected J1 visa five months ago

my husband is also a J1 visa holder

now Iam applying for J2 VISA as his dependent.

for past one month i am trying to schedule an J2 visa interview appointment but dates are not displayed for the interview at chennai in english.

kindly suggest me to get an appointment for the J2 VISA INTERVIEW.

kindly direct as to how to go for the J2 visa appointment.

can i go for

1. emergency slot
2.for telugu interview as J2 interview dates are displayed for it
3. any other option.

Your chances of getting J2 depend upon the reason why J1 was rejected.

You can go for Telugu slot if they are available, assuming you know Telugu.
But you cannot go for emergency appointment.

is it that j2 dates display is very rare?

It has nothing to do with J2, all dates are rare these days because everybody wants to go to the US and consulate people can take only limited number of appointments.

i mailed to chennaiNIV reg emergency appointment
the reply has come stating that i may go for emergency appointment provided, a visa not rejected twice with in 6 months.
