    Can anybody hold F2 and J1 at same time

    My wife came to USA as a F2 dependent then she switched to J1 as research scholar. Now she want to become F2 dependent again.
    My question is, does she have to apply for F2 visa all over again or her old F2 visa is still valid ? pl. let me know if anybody knows.
