is your J1 visa subject to the 2 years HOME RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT?

          Hey Polish guy,

Yes, you need to get a "no objection statement" or something to waive your 2HRR first. This means, if you had this 2HRR then you cannot change your visa without going first back home for two years and THEN change. So, first you need to get that waived. Also, hopefully you have been in lawful status all this long....if that's so, then you can change your status anytime. I wish you the best of luck!
