J2 EAD Renewal

Hi, I have applied for J2 renewal, I-765 form. It was delivered on December 15, 2020 but I have not received any receipt notice yet and the money has not been deducted from bank.

Has anyone faced a similar situation? Is it possible that my application was rejected or lost. I tried calling USCIS but they give the same reply.

Is there any other way I can reach out to know my receipt number?

Hi,

Did you check with the shipping carrier's(USPS/Fedex/UPS) tracking number to see if your package has reached the destination?

Usually within a week you should get the receipt # but dont know if the COVID situation is delaying the process.

I checked the tracking number and it was delivered on December 15,2020. I spoke to a lawyer too and she said the process is delayed and it is taking 8-12 weeks to send the receipt only.
