Hi,
I have a question regarding a visa for a clinical elective I have been
accepted for. I was fortunate enough to get offered an elective at the U
of Louisville, but they say its mandatory to get a j-1 exchange visitor
visa through them. I have to send them info and they will send me my
DS2019 for the application process. If I receive this visa will I be
subject to the 2 year home requirement, can I apply for the 2012 (18
months after completing my elective) match and hopefully still secure an
H1B visa? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
