Good day, I am interested in apply for a visa J-1 for training in USA, but I have some questions, could you please help me:

- Can I work in another company, different to my sponsorship?
- What happens if a received another salary with my social security?
- Can I stay in USA after my program end?

You can only work for your sponsor. After your program ends, you may stay in the US by changing to B1/B2 visa status.

Thanks for your answe, but i still with questions: what happens if the people work? how this situation affect the taxes if the people use the # of social security?o how the goberment know if the people are working?

When you work, your employer will report your wages to the government and that is how they know.

Changing surname

Hello!Could you advise me please.I have been in the USA 2 times with J-1 visa,and I am going this summer again. I am male. But I changed my surname, I have my old passport with my previous surname and with my expired visas there. Changing my surname is not related with law-breaking. Can I get any problem with an embassador in US embassy? Can an embassador suspects that something is wrong? Or its not a problem? Thanks
