    Rejected tourist B2 visas and now applying or J1

    Hello,

    I am studying in 3rd year of Engineering and have a summer internship offer from a university. I had applied for tourist visas in February with my parents and got rejected. My elder sister is currently on H1B, working in US. What are the chances of rejection for J1? Or there should not be any problem with it?

    Unfortunately chances are high. But there is no harm in trying. It will be better if the university is not close to where your sister lives.

      If you have a DS2019 from a reputed school.. surely they wont reject....

        Yes I have the DS2019 form and it is a very reputed school.
