    Convert J1 to J2

    Hi
    I am on J1 visa for my residency training which ends in July 2012. My husband is also on J1 visa for his residency training which ends next year in June 2013. So can I convert my visa from J1 to J2 and live in US as his dependent until his J1 ends?

    Secondly, is it advisable to work for me in US by getting J waiver or EAD (after getting J2) ?
