hello from my little experience ( what i went through)
first you should get a marriage license from your county office
then get married
then after you receive the original marriage certificate thats when you can file i485. along with work permit and travel document if you want.
AOS takes roughly form 2 months to 10 months each case is different.
some cases are interviewed and some are not!!!!
