You have no choice but to be the primary sponsor of your petitioned husband, even without income. But if you don't have a co-sponsor with the income and tax return history, your visa petition won't beyond the National Visa Center (if processed abroad), or the local USCIS office, if Adjusted in the U.S.

How do we proof the existence of a co-sponsor then. I am currently a grad-student and my parents will help me support my fiance but I dont know what to include in the K-1 packet to not be denied. Please specify the documents I should include

Your K1 petition package should not include any sponsorship documents. The K1 visa applicant doesn't need sponsorship documents until he goes to the Consulate or Embassy interview. The correct Affidavit of Support form for the K1 visa is the I-134.

The sponsorship forms are different for a spousal visa vs a fiancee visa. We seem to have two threads running parallel, one talking about a fiancee and the other a spouse.
