My name is Sanjar im from Uzbekistan! I came to USA IN 2010 and then i applied for political asylum in 2011! I had an interview with immigration officer in 2012 in march but he did not approve my case and gave it to the court! Then i had a court the same year and they told to come back to court again in 2015 in august! But i cant wait that long so i met a girl and i want to marry her. The thing i want to know is: can i cancel political asylum and switch it to marriage and get my green card like that? And if i do a marriage can i cancel the court in 2015? Or i have participiate on that too? If i can not cancel the court , will I be able to get my green card before the court? Thank you very much! I hope to get solution for my problem from you!

This sounds very much line another messages with the same circumstances a few days ago.

You cannot start a new immigration procedure, Adjustment of Status, while a prior procedure is under adjudication status. If you submit the conversion fees ($420 for I-130 and $1,070 for Adjustment, $300 for medical exam), your adjustment procedure will be denied and you will lose the $1,070 fee and may have to take the medical exam over if another year passes.

The good news is that the approval of the I-130 will be good for another year or so, but even that may be "dicey."

I've done exactly as you describe below (for a Chinese national claiming asylum from the "one child rule"), and the penalty for trying to run two immigration procedures in parallel became very clear when her Adjustment interview came up (before the Immigration Court hearing to do a final deny of her asylum claim).

Ok thanks sir! One more question! So u say it's better do a marriage after the hearing, right? It's gonna be my last hearing and the thing scares me is , they can deport me after that hearing in 2015! So what can i do in this case if they decide to deport me from us? Will i be still able to marry someone after that? And will it work? Thank you so much it's very helpful.. I just cant affort a lawyer right now thats why im asking these questions

I didn't say to marry after the hearing. I said, a couple of times, that you can marry now, but don't submit your Adjustment paperwork until after the hearing requirement is past.
