Does debt matter for affidavit of support?

I want to bring my fiancee here to the usa to marry her. I think there
won't be any problems except I have one concern I need some advice about. I know I will be required to support her and I have enough income to do it.

But, I owe a lot of debts from my previous marriage. They aren't child
support debts. They are credit card debts. I don't intend to repay any of
them since I don't own any property such as a house, or car or anything.

But, will these debts matter when i fill out the afidavit of support? Do I
have to include any of this or are they only concerned with how much income I can make to support her?

All that actually matters. You may have trouble sponsoring your fiance if
you have lot of prior debt.
