the wedding already takes place before the said 90 days. do i have to file the adjustment of status within that 90 days upon arrival here in US? is it okay if i file it more than 90 days after?

You CAN file after 90 days. You will be out of status, which is NOT a good thing... that is why is recommended for you to file within that period.
May I remind you your K-1 visa is for the purpose of marrying and applying for AOS, nothing else.
