  • What now - I130 & I129F Approved

    Hi,
I've applied for a K-3 visa for my wife. My I-130 was approved on Aug 1st and the I129F was approved on Aug 15th. My questions are:
    1. Has anyone been through this situation and what did you do?
    2. Everthing I read states that I have to use the I-130 approval and go with consular processing. Is this accurate?

    Your assistance is appreciated.

Call the Department of State and ask them. They are very helpful.

I also did the I-130 and the I-129f. At that time mine were suppose to go to california center. But they later sent them to vermont center. My question is.. When you filed your papers to california. What information and evidence did you send to them?? Did you send emails from you and your wife? did you send letters, cards and photos to the california center? And what other evidence did you send? When i first sent them my I-130 all i sent was my marrage certificate, along with my past divorce decree, and birthcertificate of my wife and myself. Im just trying to findout if i should go ahead and send in my emails, letters and photos or wait until she has her embassy interview.. thanks in advance for your reply.

                It's gets interesting...

                All,
I called the State Department (as Nichole suggested) and they confirmed that I will have to go the I-130 route (as my I130 was approved before my I129F). However, I jgot a notice on Thursday (8/28) informing me that my wife's K3 packet will be sent in a week to the Sydney Consulate (Australia.) Sounds like the NVC is processing my I129F... Let me know if you have any experience with this situation?
