Hello everyone,
I am from the Philippines. My fiance submitted out application to California Service Center last August 24, 2008 and it was received 2 days after that. We just received a notice of approval for petition 2 days ago (December 20, 2008).
We were so happy about this.
I just want to know if we need to get another set of original copies for our requirements e.g. Birth Certificate, Police Clearance, etc. which were what we submitted in our application? I need to know these things so I can prepare them ahead of time...
Also, for those who have already gone through the process, May I ask how long did you have to wait before you were scheduled for an interview? How long from the approval notice to your interview and until you finally were issued a US Visa?
