Hi all,
I've a question regarding a situation where marriage takes place before submitting the visa petition. Does it make any difference whether the wedding happens in the US or in my homeland? I understand what the procedure will be if we got married in my homeland (pretty stairght fwd K3 process), however I'm not 100% sure how to proceed if we got married in the US?
I know I could enter the US with VW, get married and then we'd file I-130 with I-485 after my I-94 expires. However, I'm not sure how good option this is?
Would it be possible to do as follows:
Get married in the US, after which I'd come back to my homeland for a while (few months). Then I'd enter US with VW as a spouse and we'd file I-130 with I-485 and so on.
I'm very grateful for any comments, stories of similar experiences, advises.
