I have not posted a thread in a long time, i received my letter for my husbands interview in Greece. I am a united states citizen and married a man from ghana who lives in greece.
We have been married for over a year now April 10th is our anniversary. I have visited him 3 times and we spent our anniversary together in Greece. WE have lots of evidence that we are a real couple.
My question is on the check list from NVC they say all our paper work is completed. But my question is will the embassy ask for financial proof of my 2008 returns? I filed on the last day and I am not able to get a transcript as of today.
This is a very long process and we have waited for this day to come and his interview is scheduled for June 2, 2009. I just don't want anything to come between us coming together.
This time does not leave a lot for us to prepare, it did not say anything about having my income for 2008, which i do qualify, but i just don't want him to have to wait or be denied any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
