How soon should i obtain a job letter from my employers and who should it be address to? My 129f petition is still at the VT service center as of Mar. 2,2009

Wait untill you at least get your letter from the NVC. I myself will be asking my employer for it soon.

I've overlooked something it seems, at what stage do you need a letter from your employer ?

yup! i will do that soon too.. haha... even for the affidavit of support, they dont actually look at it till the interview... i've heard that they request it so you can show your latest most up to date paycheck and letter from employer...

Yes, you will need it at the time of interview. Therefore, I think you should wait at least untill you receive the letter from NVC.
