Embassy contact

Hi to all,
its been to 2 weeks now since nvc told me they finish processing my papers and would forward them to the embassy and i shall be inform on when to come for interview. I would like to know how am i gonna be contacted by the embassy? Is it through my e-mail or postal address and how long does it take to hear from them? Thank you all.

hi noughskrilla, could you please confirm if the embassy were you will be interviewed is an appointment based or not, you will be first notify by the NVC about your interview via email if your email has been provided to them, this email will be sent to the beneficiary and the sponsor, followed by this email you will also receive the same by mail as well, this is based on my experience as my embassy is an appointment based embassy, hopefully this answers your questions

Ish,yea my embassy is' appointment based'if anyone is applyin for non-immigrant visa he or she gotta book an appointment online but as i have been told by NVC that i will be inform when appointment date has been set for me,i would like to kno if it takes a whole lot of months to get an appointment date? Thanks a lot.
