I was wondering if any one could explain the 1-864 instruction for poverty guidelines it is my understanding that on the 1-34 the amount is about 24000 so for a guy thats just over that the 1-34 goes through at the embassy and then he puts 24000 on the I-864 and he can make up the remaining 3500 to total the 27500 he needs to total the 125% that is needed to comply with the conitions of said 1-864 document or the remaining 25%must be made by 5 times that amount per say 3500 times 5 =17500 dollars in assets does anyone out there have a clear understanding of this and also are the poverty guidelines going up if so when ??????? thank you
