Ummm first of all are you divorced from your husband? 2nd are you a US citizen?
Please write a time line and your situation as it is not clear. If your petition has been approved and gone to NVC it will then be processed and forwarded to Mexico embassy if this is where you boyfriend is from. Are you engaged to be married? They will not send mail to beneficiary in Mexico if you are the petitioner then it gets sent to you and you can forward it on to your boyfriend/fiance. There is more paperwork to be done and you have to prove that you can support him financially I-134 or however you are going to do that once married.

wondering
My husband died 16 years ago I am free to marry and plan to once my boyfriend gets to US. We lived together until November (2yrs) he had to come home due to sickness in the family. He was in US without permission. I visited him in December and we decided we should get married that we missed and love each other to get married and try to do things the right way. I looked on the embassy web sight and one page says take this and another page says take that I'm so confused. We have been waiting all this time for him to get a letter.we did applcation in March. I got my approval letter July 7. My sister called NVC and they sent everything to Mexican embassy in July. Hope this answers the question. I'm still confussed about the support thing.

Ok, I have no idea why Barbara would have asked those questions, but moving right along...
Yes, what you received in the US would have been the NVC notice that they have forwarded your case to the Cuidad Juarez consulate. I believe that is the only Mexican consulate that handles K1 visas.
What he needs to do now is to download, fill out and print all of the documents from the CDJ consulate website. The CDJ########## was your new consulate-specific case number. This will replace your USCIS case number from here on out.
Fill out the forms requested at CDJ (Should be the DS-156, DS-156K, DS-157, and DS-230 pt 1). Be sure to list this case number on anything requiring it. Put together your I-134 (you'll need an ORIGINAL signature) along with all of the backup documentation (2009 Tax return with W-2's, Employer letters, Pay stubs, etc.) and all of your proof of bonafide relationship evidence (Photos, phone records, copies of passport pages proving visits to each other, letters, emails, etc.).
Put all of this together and get it ready. Have your daughter scan and email you the letter you got with the CDJ case number on it. If this is the open appointment letter (though I doubt it, because that should have come to your fiance in Mexico, not to you), then you can contact the consulate. If not, just be ready and prepared with the documents you'll need.
Hope this helps!

I'm assuming that you are the petitionor. Also, all on speculation, you are doing a k1 visa for him am i correct? If so you can head to the embassy to check the status. Usually if its being sent to NVC the hard part of the background checks are done. Now all thats left is for your fiance's embassy to decided. As for your benefirts when you do the affidavit of support, make sure you read all the infomration and for questions you are not sure of post them on the site to let people pick at it. If i were you, i would start preparing that information now, so as to not be surprised by a sudden requested document. The hardest part of this process is the waiting and in my opinion if its being sent to NVC you're almost done. But i believe there is a place on this site that'll let you check the status of yoru visa, if not, going down to the embassy always works.Originally posted by belindajoy2004 View PostI am in Mexico with my boyfriend. my daughter says I got 2 letters one from usic saying they sent my papers to nvc and the other gave me a # cdjxxxxxx it sounds like to me it is an open appointment when we get all our things together. are we ready?
We are leaving in the morning for the embassy (24 hours) on the bus. We are going for his interview for f129 visa. We have all forms on the web site done. We have 2 copies of everything. Do we need to put our names and CDJ # on everthing. It didn't sat anything about marking them. They only asked for one copy just making sure with sending 2. Do you think they will deny his visa because he was in the U.S. with permission. When I asked the lady when I got my forms she said that he could only enter the country 2 times. Pray for us. I have been waiting 6 months now and I'm really scared.
