after ggt conditional green card, how long i can go to school with regular tuition

Before, im an international student. And i and my boyfriend just got married. . I got the green card already. I am now studying at a community college.
Before, as an international student, i pay very high tuition fee. But now when i already had the green card, how long i have to wait to go to school with a regular tuition as resident here? 1 year or 2 years?
Do i have to wait until i got a permanent green card?

In California you have to establish, legal, residency for one year and one day to be eligable for the lower tuitions.
