  • Notification from nvc

    Hello everyone!

Can someone tell me about the mailing system.

I read this "Once USCIS forward the case to NVC, the NVC will process it further and forward it electronically to the alien fiance's home country embassy/consulate"

My main concern is that, when the NVC or US embassy (manila) will send a notification to the beneficiary (the alien fiance /me ) will it be by REGULAR MAIL or by COURIER?

If by courier, if no one will receive the packet at home, will they give you a call to advise you to pick up the packet?

If by regular mail and it's lost, how can the I retrieve the information, can I request for another packet or letter?

Im worried about this, since sometimes regular mail gets lost.

    Thanks in advance

I am not sure abour Manilla but they usually send email to petitioner your fiance and then he will send on to you to complete.

I applied for my fiance from Cebu a year ago. In our case they skipped the NVC completely - from the Laguna Niguel office the application was sent directly to the Manila embassy.

When they were ready Manila sent a letter through the US Post office to me. I told my fiance how to call the embassy to schedule her interview.
