  • What does this NVC response mean?

We’re currently waiting for USCIS to send our paperwork to the NVC. We sent public enquiry forms. The first two times they responded saying that they haven’t received the petition yet, but today they responded with….

“The correspondence submitted is currently under review. An appropriate action will be taken once this review is completed.”

Is this a standard reply? Is it essentially any different in meaning from the previous responses?

I’m thinking it may be because I attached a copy of our NOA2 (I-797) this time as it’s past the 60 day mark?

What do you think? Any advice?

I completely understand how stressed you are with the NVC's reaction. When I was processing my own fiancé visa, the NVC also sent a confusing response, leaving me unsure of the future sprunki game steps. My attorney encouraged me to follow up for clarification and to be patient, since these processes sometimes take time. As others have mentioned, gathering as much information as possible can help you navigate through perplexing responses. Connecting with others at similar phases of their journey can also provide encouragement and insights, making the waiting game a bit easier!

Compared to the earlier “haven’t received it” messages, this just means they’re now reviewing your submission—probably because you included the NOA2. It’s slightly more promising, but doesn’t confirm the petition reached NVC yet. Official Login Link

Yeah bro, this is still basically a standard reply.

It just means they’re reviewing your inquiry now (probably because you attached the NOA2), but it doesn’t mean they’ve received your case yet.

So yeah, not much different from before, you’re still in that waiting-for-transfer phase.

I’d say give it another week or two, and if nothing changes, just send another inquiry
