I know someone who came an the K1 visa and now his wife abused his and call the poilce on him and put him out of the house. what rights does he have when something like this happen?

He can only get a green card if they have filed AOS and she has to fill in I-864 affadavit of support.

Permanant Green Card

His Conditional GC will expire August 20, 2011. He and his wife need to file I-751 to remove the conditions. He cannot file it on his own because he never reported the abuse to anyone because he didn't want her to get in trouble.

A spouse and eligible children of a Lawful Permanent Resident in this category may apply for a Green Card without having an approved Immigrant Petition.
