  • Getting H-1B stamped for the 1st time after 5 years

I have been working in US for the past 5 years and havent been outside US in this time period. I changed my status from F-1 to H-1B 5 years back. I going to India for my stamping in November 2012. Since I am currently on my H-1B extension period, I was wondering if I am required to take all my intial H-1B docs (like I-129, LCA etc) with me when I go for stamping this time. I will be taking my current LCA, I-129, I-797 etc (renewal docs) with me anyway, but I am not sure whether I need to take my initial H-1B documents also. Anyway feedback would be appreciated.

Current is fine, but if you have it, no harm in taking past docs also.
This is my opinion and not legal advice.
