H1-B Approval Notice - validity extension

Hi,

I have got my H1b approved but valid only till Dec 31, 2012. Since my projects's SOW is extended every year, we submitted our current SOW which is valid till Dec 2012 and hence got my H1B approved n valid till Dec 2012.

How to extend the validity and what are the documents needed?? Can my manager give a letter with future date or any client letter before i get the extended SOW. Extended SOW will be provided only in Dec 2nd week and that would be very close to my expiry date for filing an amendment petition to extend my approval notice valildity.

Please help.

Your employer will have to file an extension just like any other.
