H-1B Transfer Question

Hi admin/Senior members !!!

I am currently working on H-1B for company A for couple of years as a Full Time Employee

I have decided to join a consulting company B, and still searching to find a contract job

my Question is,

1) company B(consulting) wants to file an H-1B right now, and tells H-1B processing can happen in parallel to the marketing

2) Do I need to quit my first job immediately, once h-1b petition with company B approved ? will there be any start dates ?

3) How does the payroll stuff works? can both the companies(A and B) can run my payroll ?

Company B can process H1 for you at any time. But, its upto you to decide whether to join them or not.
Payroll does not start with a petition, it starts only after you join them
