Here is the situation: My H1B has been approved and I have the passport stamped for a US based company. Now for whatever reason the company is delaying my arrival in US and is not replying to my queries.
So my question is can I have my H1B visa transferred to another US company while I am in still in my home country, as a different company is willing to do it ?
If I can what is the process and how long does it take ?
If not, then after arriving in US, how long do I have to wait before I can have the visa transferred ? Is there a wait period defined by the immigration law or can I have that done immediately on my arrival.
