H1 B Extension

Hello Everyone,

My Current 3 year H1-B would expire in April 2006.
My employer would like to extend for another 3 years.

How much time does it take to get an extension?
Would I be considered for 65000 H1B Cap?
When should I start my Extension Process?
Are there any issues with 65K getting filled in one day last year?

Dear krsna:

You would not be subject to the cap. You can file in October 2005 to extend. How long it takes to get an extension depend on the service center and whether you would like to premium process it. Yes there are issues with getting paid 65,000 in one lump sum. If I could be of any further assistance, please contact me at [email protected].

Also, I meant would the 65000 cap take into effect for the H1 Extension also?
