Work Authorization after H1-B transfer

Hi,

I am doing my H1-B transfer to new employer and we are doing this in normal process. We are supposed to get my transfer receipt number by this week.
I want to know if I am eligible to work with new employer with that receipt number or should I wait for my transfer completion to work for new employer.
