H1B transfer and approved petition validity

Hi,
I am working in Company A and got my H1B transferred (or applied) by Company B more than 4 months back. However, I could not join Company B for personal reasons.
Now, after 4 months, if I want to join Company B on the same H1B (provided Company B has not withdrawn the petition), is that allowed?

Yes, that is fine assuming you have been working for A during the past 4 months.
