Job title mistake in H1 B application
Hi,
I work as a "Software product manager". I have been offered a position in one of firms in the US. However my employer while filing the application has filed the H1B for the position "Software developer". I have done my graduation in Biotech and worked as software product manger for 4 years.
My problem is that I've been asked to show relevant documents that I have the expertise in software development which I cannot as I am a software product manager.
Is there any way that we can get this application amended while it is in process so that I can show the relevant experience of "software product manager".
Please help me understand the best possible way to get out of this situation.
