This question is for those who had attended the interview - How long did you have to wait in between your scheduled appointment time and your interview? I yet have to book a flight and I am wondering if 3-4 hours would be enough to compensate any delay. The first time I was in Delhi Consulate it took me 5-6 hours to get to the interview window but that was for F1 and was back in 2003. The last time I was there for H1 (in 2007) and also for my wife's H4/F1, the interview was withing 30 minutes of appointment time.
Also if you visa was approved - how long did it take you to get the passport, by new process?
