    i-797b valid date

    Hi,

    I received my approved H1 petition i.e. I-797B form today in which validity date is mentioned as 10/30/2012 to 10/29/2013. Does this mean that, I would be issued visa until 10/29/2013 at the most?

    Please let me know.

    Yes, but that can be extended if your employer can prove that they have a job for you longer than that.
