My company had filed an amendment on my H1b. I am planning to travel to India, but don't have the 797 approval notice for the amendment yet. Can I use the previous 797 approval receipt number and expiry date for filling in my DS-160? Has anyone faced a similar situation? Any response will be really appreciated.
