Best way to Withdraw passport from Consulate
Hi All,
My H1 is under Administrative processing since last 6 weeks and so far no update. Even I am unable to rack my case through Consulate website. (I am getting message Cas# is not valid, while it was working 3 weeks back) I sent several emails to US travel support and DOS but did not get any proper response.
I have AP but my passport is with consulate . I sent email to consulate to withdraw my passport, so I can travel on my AP. Now Consulate is asking to submit request in person with supporting documents (Why I want my passport).
My question is :
Will it be any issue if I tell them that I want to travel on my AP because H1 Stamping is taking longer than expected?
Or should I find any other way to get my passport back.
Please advice.
