Dear Forum members,
Please help me with below question I have
I got my H1-B visa extended in the month of October. The new H1 B Petition is valid from 31st December 2012 till 26th January 2014
After I got the new petition I went to INDIA on October 25th 2012 and returned to U.S. on November 18th 2012. I did not get my new visa stamped in INDIA. when I returned, I got a new I-94 in Airport which is valid till 9th January 2013(given according to the Visa stamping in Passport which is valid until 30th December 2012)
I want to know if my I-94 on the new petition is valid from 31st December 2012 and no action needed from me
NOTE: The old I-94 number before applying for Visa extension is same as the I-94 number on the new petition
