I work for a consulting firm and I got laid off on 6th December 2012. I had to leave country for my some family emergency to India. I have a company who is willing to file my H1B transfer. My current status:
Valid H1B till July 2013 (6 yrs of H1 are up in July 2013)
I 140 approved via previous employer (Have the receipt number but not the actual copy)
Will there be any issues with the H1B transfer and extension filing since I am in India?
Will I be able to re-enter US with valid visa from old employer and new petition from new employer?
