H1b visa stamping in india - Is client letter must?

I am planning to travel in Feb to India and I need to attend for H1b Visa stamping , my client is not providing the client letter as per their policy. Is the client letter required for H1b stamping in india. I am from A.P so do I need to attend for stamping only in hyderabad or can I attend in chennai ?

Client letter is not necessary, however if VO asked you have to submit it else 221g; You can attend interview in any embassy in India.
